Due to ongoing concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19), the PNG 2020 Conference, scheduled to take place in Potomac, MD, May 17-21, 2020, has been cancelled. Ensuring the health and safety of all attendees is our top priority. Therefore, we believe this is the right decision given the evolving public health risks.
– Detailed information on refunds of registration fees and hotel cancellations made through the PNG 2020 Conference website will be forthcoming in the near future from the Conferences & Visitor Services, University of Maryland.
– If you booked a hotel room outside of the PNG 2020 Conference site, it is your responsibility to cancel the hotel reservation.
– You will also need to cancel your airline or other travel arrangements on your own.
This virus pandemic is tragedy for the whole world. Hopefully, we can regroup sometime in the near future to have our meeting. We will keep you all informed.
